VELDT SERENDIPITY WARRANTY

VELDT Inc. (hereinafter VELDT) warrants that products purchased from VELDT by VELDT’s customers (hereinafter Customers) are free from defects in material and/or manufacturing, and will repair the products for free of charge when a failure occurs to the product while normally used as directed in the written instructions during the warranty period.

The warranty period is one year from the day of product purchase if the product is purchased at a store, and one year from the day of delivery if the product is purchased at our online store. Depending on the failure, VELDT may exchange the product with a replacement instead of repairing the product.

In the following cases, VELDT may charge its customers for product repair regardless of the warranty period:
1) the purchase or delivery date of the product is unclear
2) the failure or damage is caused by improper use and/or treatment of the product
3) the failure or damage is caused by dropping the product or external pressure
4) water intrusion or traces of water intrusion is found inside the product
5) condensation has occurred or traces of condensation is found inside the product
6) the failure or damage is caused by usage and/or storage at an environment other than ordinary temperature such as hot or cold environment or a place with severe temperature change
7) the failure or damage is caused by use of electricity other than rated power supply, excess voltage and/or current
8) exchange of consumable parts that deteriorate with age such as batteries and/or belts
9) the product has been repaired or altered by someone other than VELDT
10) the failure or damage is caused by fire, earthquake, lightning, windstorm, flood, or other natural disasters
11) the failure or damage is caused by aging of the product

Customers shall contact contact@veldt.jp for product repair free of charge within the warranty period. Customers shall notify VELDT of the name of the product to be repaired and the serial number indicated on the back of the lid of the product. If the product is purchased at a store, a receipt with the name of the store and purchase date, and if the product is purchased at our online store, a delivery ticket with the product delivery date or the e-mail sent from VELDT notifying the delivery will be required, so Customers shall keep such receipts, tickets and e-mails at hand.

Customers shall send the product to the address below for repair or exchange for free of charge within the warranty period. For Customers in Japan, VELDT shall incur costs for shipment of products from Customers to VELDT for repair and shipment of products to Customers after repair, so Customers in Japan may send the products to VELDT freight collect. For products VELDT sent outside Japan, and Customers currently outside Japan who wish for a repair, costs for shipment from Customers to VELDT shall be paid by the Customer. Costs for shipment from VELDT to Customers after repair shall be incurred by VELDT.

VELDT will not accept Customers directly bringing products for repair to the address above.

Customers shall backup all necessary data before repair. VELDT shall not be held liable for any loss or change of settings or data caused by repair.
